Stone(s): Basalt

Its robust nature and refined surface texture make basalt a sign of faithful and precious memory.

Once ejected from volcanoes as liquid magma onto the earth's surface, basalt hardened into one of the most resistant rocks. Basalt deposits can be found all over the world, even in the depths of the oceans. In some locations, basalt formed into hexagonal columns and continues to enchant observers today with its unique appearance. Once also called black marble, basalt is characterized by its subtle and classic coloring in dark grey and black tones. The timeless cross-shaped surface finish gives the Urn Headstone Model San Francisco an elegant and modern look.

Care instructions: Basalt is frost-resistant and easy to maintain. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the Urn Headstone Model San Francisco is less susceptible to the elements.
