Production takes place in our stonemason and sculptor workshop in Crailsheim. From a simple hammer to state-of-the-art machinery (e.g., robots), our production facility is optimally equipped. Through standardized work processes, we are able to deliver the highest level of quality.

Company History
The history of Messerschmidt GmbH is very closely linked to the career path of its founder and managing director, Tobias Messerschmidt.
1998 - 2001
- Apprenticeship as a stonemason in Ilshofen
- Production of the third-best journeyman's piece in Baden-Württemberg
- Journeyman certificate
2001 - 2004
- Gaining professional experience as a stonemason
2004 - 2005
- Master stonemason school in Würzburg – Aschaffenburg, successfully completed with master craftsman's diploma
- Winner of the "Art and Commerce" competition
06.06.2006
- Founding of "Steinmetz Messerschmidt"
- Stonemasonry work for churches / stairs / gravestones
2007
- Hiring of the first apprentice
2008
- Hiring of three additional employees
2009
- Expansion of the showroom to 150 stones
2010
- Acquisition of new stone machinery
- Expansion of the showroom to 600 stones
2011
- Expansion of the showroom to 900 stones
- Opening of the Schwäbisch Hall-Veinau branch
- Hiring of two new employees
2012
- Expansion of the showroom to 1,000 stones
- Acquisition of a block saw
2013
- Acquisition of a CNC wire saw for processing 6 stones at once
- New construction of the showroom
2014
- New building at Rotebachring 45 in Crailsheim
2015
- Acquisition of robots for the individual processing of complete stones
- Optimization of the showroom for better customer friendliness
- Expansion of the showroom to 1,400 stones
2017
- Initial steps taken for further locations in Austria and Switzerland

Our Philosophy
The journey is the reward
My motivation as a stonemason is to perfect the realization of my own designs and the artisanal crafting of gravestones. Breaking new ground has always been my driving force. Through personal designs and customer-oriented consultation, I have been able to continuously develop my company.
The loss of a loved one is tragic. To support you in your grief, I have made it my goal to address your personal visions.
