Stone(s): Basalt

Its robust nature and refined surface structure make basalt a symbol of faithful and precious memory.

Once ejected from volcanoes as liquid magma onto the earth's surface, basalt hardened into one of the most resistant types of rock. Basalt deposits are found all over the world, even in the depths of the oceans. In some locations, the basalt formed into hexagonal columns and continues to enchant observers today with its unique appearance. Once also known as black marble, basalt is characterized by its subtle and classic coloring in dark gray and black tones. In a delicate cleft, the Los Gatos model urn headstone opens and reaches toward the rays of the sky like a flower.

Care instructions: Basalt is frost-resistant and easy to maintain. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this Los Gatos model urn headstone is less susceptible to the elements.
