Stone(s): Diorite and Sandstone

In a loving embrace, robust diorite and playful sandstone grow together.

Seemingly opposites, the dark diorite and the light sandstone complement each other to form a harmonious unity. The hard and unshakeable diorite is gently received by the sandstone. Quietly embracing, strength and tenderness, power and warmth, and grief and confidence unite in the Urn Headstone Model Istanbul. Only through the interplay of opposites does the pair reach perfection, providing each other with security and support.

Diorite is one of the hardest and most durable types of stone. Formed from liquid magma deep within the earth millions of years ago, it developed a fine- to medium-grained structure that gives it a harmonious effect. Its black to dark gray coloring provides a calm and powerful radiance.
Contrasting this is the light sandstone, which originated over 150 million years ago from the deposits of weathered stones and sand grains. Over time, it hardened into one of Germany's most popular and durable natural stones, which has been handed down to us in magnificent buildings since the early Middle Ages. The Schweinstal sandstone possesses a reddish-brown base tone that appears in varied color nuances. Thus, the stone radiates warmth and security even on cold days. And on pleasant days, the sun's rays elicit a soft glitter and sparkle from it.

Care instructions: Diorite is frost-resistant and easy to care for. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this Urn Headstone Model Istanbul is less susceptible to weathering and is also water- and dirt-repellent.
