Stone(s): Jura Limestone & Schweinstaler Sandstone

Two hearts, separated and yet forever united, find each other in the Cushion Grave Marker Model Weser

Bright and noble Jura limestone combines with warm and vibrant sandstone to form a monument of eternal love. The Jura limestone was formed when the primeval sea receded in the Bavarian Altmühltal around 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom. It enclosed the creatures of our prehistoric past as fossils, making it a unique witness to our history to this day. Contrasting this is the warm sandstone, which was formed over 150 million years ago from the deposits of weathered rocks and grains of sand. Over time, it hardened into one of Germany's most popular and durable natural stones, which has been handed down to us in magnificent structures since the early Middle Ages. The Schweinstaler sandstone has a reddish-brown base tone that appears in a variety of color nuances. Thus, the stone radiates warmth and security even on cold days. And on pleasant days, the sun's rays elicit a soft glitter and sparkle from it.

Care instructions: Both stones are low-maintenance, as they weather or green over only slowly. To further delay this process, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the Cushion Grave Marker Model Weser is even less susceptible to the elements and is also water and dirt-repellent.
