Stone(s): Schweinstäler Sandstone

Warm and vibrant, the heart of the Rhein pillow model radiates, thus proclaiming the belief in eternal love.

Schweinstäler Sandstone was formed over 150 million years ago from the deposition of weathered stones and grains of sand. Over time, it hardened into one of Germany’s most popular and durable natural stones, which has been passed down to us in magnificent structures since the early Middle Ages. Schweinstäler Sandstone features a reddish-brown base tone that appears in a variety of color nuances. Thus, the stone radiates warmth and comfort even on cold days. And on pleasant days, the sun's rays draw a soft glitter and sparkle from it.

Care instructions: Schweinstäler Sandstone is easy to care for as it weathers or develops greenery very slowly. To further delay this process, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the pillow model Rhein is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt repellent.
