It enclosed these ancient creatures as fossils, serving today as a unique witness to our past. Due to its noble appearance, Jura limestone was already a popular building material in Roman times and can also be found in numerous medieval structures. Jura limestone has a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellent for surface finishing.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to maintain, as it weathers and develops moss very slowly. To further slow down this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the Putgarten pillow model is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt-repellent.

The inscription will be arranged according to your wishes in consultation with our specialists and then carved deep into the stone by our stonemasons.

A headstone is an individually designed product crafted by hand. We will create the stone of your choice in accordance with the applicable cemetery regulations so that it is eligible for approval and can be installed.
