A spark of hope and radiant light to accompany us on our path into the unknown is offered by the cushion Model Nil made of Jura limestone. Born in the prehistoric sea, the stone is a monument to our evolutionary history.
Jura limestone was formed around 180 million years ago when the primeval sea in the Bavarian Altmühltal region receded and animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom. It enclosed the prehistoric creatures as fossils, making it a unique witness to our past to this day.
Jura limestone was already a popular building material in Roman times and can also be found in numerous medieval structures. It possesses a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellently suited for surface design.
Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to care for, as it weathers or turns green very slowly. To further delay this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the headstone cushion Model Nil is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt repellent.

Procedure:
The price includes the headstone and the individual inscription. After completing your order, you will book a personal appointment with our staff to coordinate all the details. In consultation with our specialist staff, the inscription will be arranged according to your wishes and then deeply carved into the stone by our stonemasons.
A headstone is an individually designed product made by hand. We will craft the stone of your choice in accordance with the applicable cemetery regulations so that it is eligible for approval and may be installed.
