Stone(s): Jura Limestone
Like a glowing cloud, the Pillow Model Malmö floats gently above the ground, radiating hope and confidence.
Jura limestone formed around 180 million years ago as the primordial sea receded in the Bavarian Altmühl valley and marine animals and plants slowly sank to the bottom. It enclosed the ancient living beings as fossils, serving as a unique witness to our past to this day. The noble and modern effect of Jura limestone is showcased particularly well in the Pillow Model Malmö. Its understated shape highlights the radiant luminosity of the stone.
Due to its elegant appearance, Jura limestone was popular as a building material even in Roman times and can be found in numerous medieval structures. Jura limestone has a high density, yet as a soft sedimentary rock, it is exceptionally well-suited for surface design.
Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to maintain, as it weathers or becomes green only very slowly. To further delay this process, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the Pillow Model Malmö is even less susceptible to the elements and also water- and dirt-repellent.
