The pillow Model Main is crafted from fine Jura limestone, giving it its radiant brilliance and elegant appearance. Jura limestone was formed when the primeval sea receded in the Bavarian Altmühltal region around 180 million years ago, and animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom. The stone encased these ancient creatures as fossils, serving as a unique witness to our past to this day.

Jura limestone was already a popular building material in Roman times and can also be found in numerous structures from the Middle Ages. It has a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is ideally suited for surface design.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is low-maintenance, as it weathers or becomes overgrown with moss only very slowly. To delay this process even further, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the pillow Model Main is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt repellent.

The price includes the headstone and the custom lettering. After completing your order, you will book a personal appointment with our staff, where all details will be coordinated. The inscription will be arranged according to your wishes in consultation with our specialist staff and then deeply engraved into the stone by our stonemasons.

A headstone is an individually designed product made by hand. We craft the stone of your choice while taking into account the applicable cemetery regulations to ensure it is eligible for approval and can be installed.
