Stone(s): Schweinstäler sandstone
Delicate yet relentless, a slender heart emerges from the Gothenburg model pillow, serving as a silent testament to eternal love.
Schweinstäler sandstone was formed over 150 million years ago from the deposits of weathered rocks and grains of sand. Over time, it hardened into one of Germany's most popular and durable natural stones, which has been preserved in magnificent structures since the early Middle Ages. Schweinstäler sandstone possesses an inherent reddish-brown base tone that appears in various color nuances. Thus, the stone radiates warmth and comfort even on cold days. And on pleasant days, the sun's rays draw out a subtle glimmer and sparkle.
Care instructions: Schweinstäler sandstone is low-maintenance, as it weathers or greens very slowly. To further inhibit this process, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the Gothenburg model pillow is even less susceptible to the elements and is also water- and dirt-repellent.
