Stone(s): Schweinstaler Sandstone

Warm and confident, the heart of the Glasgow pillow model proclaims the belief in eternal love.

Schweinstaler sandstone was formed over 150 million years ago from the deposits of weathered rocks and sand grains. Over time, it hardened into one of Germany's most popular and durable natural stones, which has been handed down to us in magnificent structures since the early Middle Ages. Schweinstaler sandstone has a reddish-brown base tone that appears in a variety of color shades. Thus, the stone radiates warmth and security even on cold days. And on pleasant days, the sun's rays elicit a soft glitter and sparkle from it.

Care instructions: Schweinstaler sandstone is easy to care for, as it weathers or turns green very slowly. To further delay this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the pillow model Glasgow is even less susceptible to the elements and is also water and dirt repellent.
