Stone(s): Jura Limestone & Schweinstäler Sandstone

Four hearts made of elegant Jura limestone and warm Schweinstäler sandstone form a lucky union in the Donau model pillow headstone.

When the primeval sea in the Bavarian Altmühl Valley receded about 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom, Jura limestone was formed. It enclosed the creatures of our prehistoric past as fossils and remains a unique witness to our history to this day. Its bright and refined appearance is complemented by the warm base tone of the Schweinstäler sandstone. It was formed over 150 million years ago from the deposits of weathered rocks and sand grains. Over time, it hardened into one of Germany's most popular and durable natural stones, which has been handed down to us in magnificent structures since the early Middle Ages.

In the Donau model pillow headstone, these two stones come together. Their hearts combine to form a harmonious unit that radiates hopeful light and comforting warmth.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to care for, as it weathers or turns green only very slowly. To further delay this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this Donau model pillow headstone is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt repellent.

Your advantage - our service:
Even if you purchase your stone online, there is a lot of personal involvement in this process. We accompany and advise you on this journey, from the inscription to the on-site installation. We take care of it.
