Stone(s): Schweinstäler sandstone

Like a feather, the Denver model pillow headstone rests delicately on the ground, radiating quiet hope and confidence.

Schweinstäler sandstone was formed over 150 million years ago from the deposits of weathered stone and grains of sand. Over time, it hardened into one of Germany's most popular and durable natural stones, which has been passed down to us in magnificent structures since the early Middle Ages. Schweinstäler sandstone has an inherent reddish-brown base tone that appears in a variety of shades. Thus, the stone radiates warmth and a sense of security even on cold days. And on pleasant days, the sun's rays draw out a soft glimmer and sparkle.

Care instructions: Schweinstäler sandstone is easy to care for, as it weathers or develops moss only very slowly. To delay this process even further, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the Denver model pillow headstone is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt-repellent.
