Stone(s): Jura limestone
Delicate as an angel's wing, the pillow Model Cannes opens up and thus lends the stone a vibrant lightness.
When the primordial sea in the Bavarian Altmühl Valley receded around 180 million years ago and animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom, Jura limestone was formed. It enclosed the former creatures of our prehistoric past as fossils and thus remains a unique witness to our history to this day.
Jura limestone was already a popular building material in Roman times and can also be found in numerous structures from the Middle Ages. It has a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellently suited for surface design.
Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to care for, as it weathers or turns green only very slowly. To delay this process even further, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the headstone pillow Model Cannes is even less susceptible to the elements and is also water- and dirt-repellent.
Your advantage - our service:
Even if you purchase your stone online, there is a lot of personal involvement in this process. We will guide and advise you along the way, from the inscription to the on-site installation. We will take care of it.
Procedure:
The price includes the headstone and the individual inscription. After completing your order, you will book a personal appointment with our staff, during which all details will be coordinated. Following consultation with our specialist staff, the inscription will be arranged according to your wishes and then engraved deeply into the stone by our stonemasons.
A headstone is an individually designed product made with the help of manual labor. We craft the stone of your choice while taking into account the applicable cemetery regulations so that it is eligible for approval and may be installed.
