Stone(s): Schweinstäler sandstone
Like a leaf freshly blown from a tree, the Belfast model cushion rests gently on the ground and gives us confidence and strength.
Schweinstäler sandstone was formed over 150 million years ago from the deposits of weathered rocks and grains of sand. Over time, it hardened into one of Germany's most popular and durable natural stones, which has been handed down to us in magnificent structures since the early Middle Ages. Schweinstäler sandstone has an inherent reddish-brown base tone that appears in a variety of color nuances. Thus, even on cold days, the stone radiates warmth and a sense of security. And on pleasant days, the sun's rays elicit a soft glimmer and sparkle from it.
Care instructions: Schweinstäler sandstone is low-maintenance, as it weathers or greens only very slowly. To delay this process even further, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, the Belfast model cushion is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water- and dirt-repellent.
Your advantage - our service:
Even though you are purchasing your stone online, this process still requires a personal touch. We will accompany and advise you along the way, from the inscription to the on-site installation. We will take care of it.
Procedure:
The price includes the headstone and the individual inscription. After completing your order, you will book a personal appointment with our staff to coordinate all the details. The inscription will be arranged according to your wishes in consultation with our specialist staff and then hand-engraved into the stone by our stonemasons.
A headstone is an individually designed product made with the help of manual craftsmanship. We manufacture the stone of your choice while taking into account the applicable cemetery regulations so that it is eligible for approval and can be installed.
