Stone(s): Basalt

Its robust nature and elegant surface structure make basalt a symbol of loyal and precious memory.

Once ejected from volcanoes as liquid magma onto the earth's surface, basalt hardened into one of the most resistant types of rock. Basalt deposits are found all over the world, even in the depths of the oceans. Formerly also called black marble, basalt is characterized by its subtle and classic coloring in shades of dark gray and black. Strong and graceful, the two wings in the Single Headstone Model Lisbon meet and provide each other with support in their strength.

Care instructions: Basalt is frost-resistant and easy to maintain. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this Single Headstone Model Lisbon is even less susceptible to weathering.
