Stone(s): Jura limestone - beige

Born in the primeval sea, the elegant Jura limestone is a monument to our evolutionary history.

When the prehistoric sea retreated from the Bavarian Altmühl valley about 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom, Jura limestone was formed. It enclosed the creatures of our prehistoric past as fossils and thus remains a unique witness to our history to this day. In the double headstone Model San Bernardino, the noble and warm effect of the Jura limestone is shown to particular advantage. In a tender and loving touch, a heart emerges from the pair and is protectively carried by them.

Due to its noble appearance, Jura limestone was already popular as a building material in Roman times and can also be found in numerous medieval structures. Jura limestone has a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellently suited for surface design.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to care for, as it weathers or turns green very slowly. To further delay this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this double headstone Model San Bernardino is even less susceptible to the elements and is also water and dirt-repellent.
