Stone(s): Jura limestone - beige

Born in the primeval sea, the elegant Jura limestone is a monument to our origins. Radiant and luminous, the double headstone Model Mountain View opens up, allowing a heart to grow from within it.

When the prehistoric sea receded in the Bavarian Altmühl Valley about 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the seabed, Jura limestone was formed. It enclosed the ancient creatures of our prehistory as fossils, making it a unique witness to our past to this day.

The elegant and warm effect of Jura limestone is particularly well showcased in the double headstone Model Mountain View. With a delicate curve, a heart grows out of the stone, held protectively within it.

Due to its noble appearance, Jura limestone was already popular as a building material in Roman times and can also be found in numerous structures from the Middle Ages. Jura limestone has a high density, yet as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellently suited for surface design.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to care for, as it weathers or develops moss very slowly. To further delay this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this double headstone Model Mountain View is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt-repellent.
