Stone(s): Jura limestone - beige

Born in the prehistoric sea, elegant Jura limestone is a monument to our evolutionary history. Its luminous color and noble appearance lend the double gravestone Model Madrid a sense of peace and lightness.

When the prehistoric sea receded in the Bavarian Altmühltal region about 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom, Jura limestone was formed. It enclosed the once-living creatures of our prehistoric past as fossils, and it remains a unique witness to our history to this day.

The noble and modern effect of Jura limestone is particularly well showcased in the double gravestone Model Madrid. Its understated form emphasizes the radiant luminosity of the stone.

Due to its elegant appearance, Jura limestone was already popular as a building material in Roman times and can also be found in numerous medieval structures. Jura limestone has a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellently suited for surface design.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to care for, as it weathers or develops moss very slowly. To further delay this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this double gravestone Model Madrid is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt-repellent.
