Stone(s): Jura limestone - beige

Born in the primordial sea, elegant Jura limestone is a monument to our evolutionary history. Its noble radiance lends grace and lightness to the double headstone Model Long Beach.

When the prehistoric sea retreated in the Bavarian Altmühltal region around 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom, Jura limestone was formed. It enclosed the once-living creatures of our primeval past as fossils, and it remains a unique witness to our history to this day.

The elegant effect of the Jura limestone is shown to particular advantage in the double headstone Model Long Beach. The heart gently rises from the center of the stone, where it is protected for eternity.

Due to its noble appearance, Jura limestone was a popular building material as far back as Roman times and can also be found in numerous medieval structures. Jura limestone has a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellently suited for surface design.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is low-maintenance, as it weathers or develops a patina very slowly. To delay this process even further, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this double headstone Model Long Beach is even less susceptible to the elements and is also water- and dirt-repellent.
