Stone(s): Jura limestone - beige

Born in the primeval sea, the elegant Jura limestone is a monument to our evolutionary history. Its radiant color and noble appearance lend the Double Headstone Model Leipzig a sense of calm and lightness.

Jura limestone formed when the primeval sea receded in the Bavarian Altmühl valley about 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom. It enclosed the ancient creatures of our prehistoric past as fossils, making it a unique witness to our history to this day.

The noble and modern effect of Jura limestone is particularly well showcased in the Double Headstone Model Leipzig. The understated form emphasizes the radiant luminosity of the stone, while a delicate cross conveys quiet yet hopeful confidence.

Due to its noble appearance, Jura limestone was popular as a building material as far back as Roman times and can also be found in numerous structures from the Middle Ages. Jura limestone has a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellently suited for surface design.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is low-maintenance, as it weathers or develops moss very slowly. To further delay this process, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this Double Headstone Model Leipzig is even less susceptible to weather and also water- and dirt-repellent.
