Stone(s): Jura limestone - beige

Born in the primeval sea, elegant Jura limestone is a monument to our evolutionary history. Its luminous color and refined appearance lend the double headstone Model Hongkong a sense of calm and lightness.

Jura limestone was formed approximately 180 million years ago, when the primeval sea in the Altmühltal region of Bavaria receded and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the seabed. It preserved the prehistoric creatures of our past as fossils, serving to this day as a unique witness to our history.

The refined and modern effect of Jura limestone is showcased particularly well in the double headstone Model Hongkong. The understated design emphasizes the radiant luminosity of the stone, conveying a quiet yet firm confidence.

Due to its sophisticated appearance, Jura limestone was a popular building material as far back as Roman times and can also be found in numerous medieval structures. Jura limestone has a high density, yet as a soft sedimentary rock, it is exceptionally well-suited for surface detailing.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to maintain, as it weathers or develops moss very slowly. To further delay this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this double headstone Model Hongkong is even less susceptible to the elements and is also water and dirt repellent.
