Stone(s): Jura limestone - beige
Born in the prehistoric sea, elegant Jura limestone is a monument to our origins. With its gently curved shape, it lends the double headstone Model Bangkok grace and lightness.
When the primordial sea in the Bavarian Altmühltal region receded around 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the seabed, Jura limestone was formed. It enclosed the once-living creatures of our prehistoric past as fossils, and remains a unique witness to our history to this day.
The noble and warm effect of Jura limestone is particularly well showcased in the double headstone Model Bangkok. In a delicate cleft, the stone opens upwards, reaching towards the rays of the sky like a blossom.
Due to its noble appearance, Jura limestone was a popular building material as far back as Roman times and can also be found in numerous medieval structures. Jura limestone has a high density, yet as a soft sedimentary rock, it is exceptionally well-suited for surface design.
Care instructions: Jura limestone is low-maintenance, as it weathers or develops moss very slowly. To further delay this process, we also seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this double headstone Model Bangkok is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt-repellent.
