Stone(s): Jura limestone - beige

Born in the primeval sea, elegant Jura limestone is a monument to our origins.

When the ancient sea receded from the Bavarian Altmühl Valley around 180 million years ago and the animals and plants of the marine world slowly sank to the bottom, Jura limestone was formed. It enclosed the once-living creatures of our prehistoric times as fossils and thus remains a unique witness to our past to this day. Its gently curved shape gives the double headstone Model Bakersfield a lively lightness. A heart emerges gently from the stone and is protected and held in its center.

Due to its noble appearance, Jura limestone was already popular as a building material in Roman times and can also be found in numerous medieval structures. Jura limestone has a high density, but as a soft sedimentary rock, it is excellently suited for surface design.

Care instructions: Jura limestone is easy to care for, as it weathers or develops greenery only very slowly. To delay this process even further, we additionally seal our stones. Thanks to our proven sealing system, this double headstone Model Bakersfield is even less susceptible to weathering and is also water and dirt-repellent.
